About The Position
The Dental Assistant will support Dr. Nazila Alimohammadi in a modern dental office in the Montford area of Charlotte. The practice provides general, cosmetic, and restorative care. Digital impressions and iTero scanning are regular parts of the workday, alongside traditional impressions as needed. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. on alternating weeks, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are no Friday or weekend shifts. Hourly pay is based on experience.
Requirements
- iTero scanning experience.
- At least 2 years of chairside assisting experience.
- North Carolina radiology, coronal polishing, and nitrous oxide certifications.
- Clear communication with patients.
- A team-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Take digital impressions and scans with iTero, as well as traditional impressions when needed.
- Assist chairside with four-handed general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures.
- Take high-quality digital X-rays.
- Chart restorations and treatment.
- Provide coronal polishing.
- Monitor nitrous oxide.
- Educate patients about their treatment and home care.
