About The Position

Triad Kids Dental in Danville, part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support clinical care and create a positive, welcoming experience for children and families. The role involves working closely with dentists and helping patients feel safe, confident, and comfortable before, during, and after treatment. Requirements

• Virginia Radiology Certification or DANB Radiology Certification.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
• Review medical histories, take blood pressure and pulse, and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
