About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Dental Assistant to join its dental team and support patients’ oral health in a fast-paced practice. The role includes assisting with patient care and dental procedures, preparing and maintaining treatment areas, educating patients, and handling scheduling and records. For Michigan hires, evidence of X-ray training certification must be furnished upon hiring. If the applicant does not have the certification at that time, they have eight weeks to submit it.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Michigan hires must furnish evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring, or submit it within eight weeks if not already certified.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Support dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
