About The Position

Aspen Dental is hiring an entry-level Dental Assistant. No prior dental experience or certification is required. The role includes paid, hands-on training through a partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), with a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Dental Assistants work alongside a team providing patient care in the community. Schedule and availability may vary by independently owned and operated location; part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling are available. The position pays $20–$25 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain radiology and safety certification within the timeframe required by the state of practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Support patient charting for doctors.
Perform office tasks as necessary.
Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide patient care.
