About The Position

As an Entry-Level Dental Assistant at Aspen Dental, you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors. The role includes training and support to help you succeed regardless of your current expertise, with opportunities to develop your career and contribute to the community. The position offers a pathway to become a DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), as well as paid training for radiology and safety certification through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists, and receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
