Dental Assistant - Entry Level
About The Position
Aspen Dental offers an entry-level Dental Assistant role with paid, hands-on training through its partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), supporting a path toward Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification. No dental experience or certification is required to apply. The role supports dental treatment and patient care while working alongside a dental team. Schedule availability may vary by independently owned and operated location; part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling are available. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Support patient charting for doctors.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide patient care.
