About The Position

Platinum Dental is seeking a motivated, dependable part-time Dental Assistant to support its clinical team and help create a comfortable, positive patient experience. The role involves assisting dentists with procedures, preparing treatment rooms and instruments, taking dental X-rays, following sterilization and safety protocols, maintaining patient records, and supporting efficient clinical workflows. The team describes its workplace as collaborative and supportive and offers opportunities for professional development and advancement.

The schedule is one of two listed options: Monday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; or Tuesday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. The schedule may vary slightly from week to week. Pay is $14–$15 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience.
• Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.

• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinical workflows.
• Work closely with the dental team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
