About The Position

This entry-level Dental Assistant role requires no prior dental experience or certification. The position offers paid, hands-on training through a partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), including training toward radiology and safety certification, and a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Dental Assistants work alongside a team to support patient care in the community. Scheduling varies by independently owned and operated location; part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling are available. The advertised salary is $17–$20 per hour.

Aspen Dental practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc. Benefits and working arrangements may vary by location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
