About The Position

A privately owned dental practice in Lebanon, Oregon is seeking a Dental Assistant to help provide patient-centered care and support an effective, welcoming practice environment. The role includes assisting the doctor with patient care, helping patients feel comfortable, maintaining clinical supplies and treatment rooms, and following applicable safety and privacy guidelines. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The compensation range is $27–$32 per hour, based on experience. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional experience working as a Dental Assistant or Lead.
High school diploma or GED.
State-required certifications, such as Radiology Certification, CPR certification, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF).
Experience with dental software.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
Assist the doctor in providing care to patients.
Stay current with emerging dental technologies and clinical best practices to improve patient care and office efficiency.
Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
Build meaningful relationships with patients to enhance their experience and promote practice loyalty.
Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs.
Collaborate with the team to support practice goals and contribute to a thriving practice environment.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.
