About The Position
Conestoga Oral Surgery is hiring a Dental Assistant to support a multi-surgeon oral surgery practice across its Lancaster, Lititz, and Hummelstown offices. Requirements
- RHS (Radiation Health & Safety) certification.
- High school diploma.
- Experience using EMR systems.
- Ability to travel to the Hummelstown office weekly.
- Comfort using software and ability to type quickly and accurately.
- Ability to stay calm, work quickly, and problem-solve in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Clear communication, teamwork, and a professional, positive demeanor.

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons chairside during procedures by managing instruments, anticipating needs, and helping procedures move efficiently.
- Use accurate dental terminology when communicating with patients and team members.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in EMR systems and use strong typing skills.
- Prepare and present treatment plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow aseptic techniques and help maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment.
- Take X-rays and assist as needed.
- Contribute to a smooth, collaborative team environment focused on patient care.
- Complete DAANCE certification within the first year, with training, study support, and certification costs provided.
