About The Position

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll help deliver exceptional patient care and support the clinical team in providing high-quality dentistry. You’ll work alongside dentists, specialists, and other dental professionals to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits. Your duties include preparing patients and treatment rooms, assisting with procedures, and educating patients. The schedule is Monday 7:30 am–5:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am–5:30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am–2:30 pm, and Thursday 8:00 am–2:00 pm. Compensation is $19.00–$24.00 per hour. Benefits vary based on employment status and hours worked.

Requirements

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain it before the start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable, and willing-to-learn attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dental assisting experience; qualified new dental assistants may also be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records when permitted by state regulations and within your credentials.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain appropriate infection control, sterilization, and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver exceptional care.
