About The Position

A full-time Dental Assistant is sought to join a growing, privately owned family dental practice in Sellersburg. The practice describes itself as established, supportive, and team-focused, with an emphasis on excellent patient care and a positive workplace. The Dental Assistant will support the doctor and patients, help maintain efficient patient flow, and contribute to a collaborative practice environment. EDDA certification is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Active CPR certification.
• Indiana X-Ray certification.
• Reliable and available Monday through Thursday.
• Friendly, coachable, and eager to be part of a team-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials.
• Welcome and comfort patients throughout their visit.
• Assist with procedures by anticipating the doctor's needs and supporting efficient patient flow.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
• Fabricate natural-looking temporary restorations.
• Capture high-quality intraoral photos.
• Educate patients and answer questions with kindness and clarity.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Maintain accurate and detailed chart notes.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Bring positive energy and a collaborative spirit to the team.
