About The Position

This entry-level Dental Assistant role provides paid, hands-on training through a partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), with a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). The assistant works alongside a dental team to support treatment procedures and patient care in the community. No dental experience or certification is required to apply. The role offers support and training regardless of the candidate’s level of expertise, with opportunities for ongoing learning and career advancement.

The position is full-time, although part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling may be available depending on the independently owned and operated location. Pay is $19 per hour. Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists, and receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
• Manage infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
