About The Position

Requirements

• Dental assistant with experience
• Dental assisting credentials where required by state law
• Reliable, professional and comfortable working with patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office
• Some evening and Saturday availability

Nice To Haves

• Orthodontic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments
• Prepare treatment rooms and clinical instruments
• Perform sterilization and infection-control procedures
• Assist with braces, adjustments, retainers and other orthodontic treatments
• Take digital scans, photographs and X-rays when authorized
• Educate patients about oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Help keep patient appointments running smoothly
