About The Position

Dental Dreams is hiring a Radiology Certified Dental Assistant for its Alabama Avenue office in Washington, DC. The position works in a high-volume office and requires a caring approach, excellent customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist with administrative tasks. The Dental Assistant works under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist and supports patient examinations and treatment as well as office operations. Requirements

Must be fully licensed in DC.
Must be radiology certified.
Must have a caring approach and excellent customer service.
Must be organized, attentive to detail, and able to assist with administrative tasks.
Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental examinations and treatment.
Chart during dental examinations.
Take and process X-rays.
Sterilize and maintain instruments and the sterilization area.
Set up and break down operatories.
Assist with supply inventory and ordering.
Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans.
Maintain a high level of customer service.
Work as part of a team, emphasizing communication.
