About The Position

Platinum Dental is seeking a motivated, dependable Dental Assistant to support its clinical team and provide patients with a comfortable, positive experience. The role involves assisting dentists during procedures, preparing treatment rooms and instruments, taking dental X-rays, following sterilization and safety protocols, maintaining patient records, and supporting efficient clinical workflows. The position is available part-time or full-time. The part-time schedule is Thursday and Friday from 6:40 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday from 8:40 AM to 6:00 PM. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:40 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay is $16–$20 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience.
• Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take dental X-rays in accordance with certification requirements.
• Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinical workflows.
• Work closely with the dental team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
