About The Position

Dental One Associates Eagles Landing is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant to join its growing periodontal team in Stockbridge, Georgia. The assistant will work alongside a Periodontist, assisting with specialty dental procedures and providing patient care. The role includes reviewing treatment plans with patients, explaining recommended treatment, and helping patients feel confident about their care. The position is part-time, scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, with the possibility of additional days as the practice grows.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential.
• Current X-ray certification.
• At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort discussing treatment plans with patients.
• Patient-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Periodontal or specialty dental experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Periodontist with periodontal procedures and patient care.
• Review treatment plans with patients and help them understand recommended treatment.
• Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and answer patient questions.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
