About The Position

Pediatric Dentistry of Bronx is seeking a warm, organized, and experienced Dental Assistant to join its pediatric dental team. The role supports dentists and helps children and their families have a positive dental experience in a supportive, kid-friendly environment. The position is full-time and pays $20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. The work is in person in Bronx, NY 10468. Applicants must be able to commute or relocate before starting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, and every other Saturday, 8:30 AM–2:00 PM. Requirements

At least 1 year of dental assisting experience or a dental assisting certification.
Spanish-speaking ability is required.
Calm, reliable, and confident when working with young patients.
Must be able to commute to or relocate to the Bronx, NY work location before starting.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric experience is preferred.
An X-ray license is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists chairside during procedures and examinations.
Escort patients to treatment rooms and prepare them for care.
Take X-rays and maintain a clean, sterile workspace.
Review patient medical histories and enter treatment notes.
Help with front desk tasks and improve patient flow.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families in English and Spanish.
Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies are stocked and ready.
