About The Position

As a Dental Assistant at Aspen Dental, you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors, helping provide patient care and contribute to the community. The position includes training and support to help you develop your career. Aspen Dental offers competitive compensation and flexible scheduling. This is a full-time position paying $20–$22 per hour. Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists. The practices receive non-clinical business support from Aspen Dental Management, Inc., a dental support organization. High school diploma or equivalent.
Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Take dental x-rays.
Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
Complete patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
Manage infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
Perform digital intraoral scans.
Support patient charting for doctors.
Perform office tasks as necessary.
Collaborate with the practice team to support patient satisfaction.
