About The Position
Community Dental Care is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a positive, patient-focused team. The position is suited to someone who takes pride in excellent patient care, enjoys teamwork, and brings a positive attitude. The Dental Assistant supports dentists and the clinical team in a fast-paced dental office while helping create a warm, professional patient experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Dental Assistant experience.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to help others.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with four-handed dentistry and temporary restorations.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures.
- A positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working with people.
Nice To Haves
- Expanded Functions certification.
- X-ray certification.
- Dentrix experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with patient care and procedures.
- Perform four-handed dentistry.
- Fabricate temporary restorations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Follow sterilization and infection control procedures.
- Provide patients with a warm, professional experience.
- Support the clinical team in a fast-paced dental office.
