About The Position
PCHC’s Dental Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join their dynamic team. The role involves working side-by-side with skilled providers to deliver exceptional care and improve the patient experience. As part of one of Maine’s top federally reviewed dental centers, this position offers opportunities for advancement, leadership development, and career ladder growth within a team that values contributions. The dental center is a large, well-established practice with 43 operatories, offering the latest oral health technology, including digital x-rays and paperless dental records. Services include preventative and specialty care such as restorative, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthetics, orthodontics, and walk-in care.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Assistant required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Radiology license required, or must obtain within 6 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program or completion of a DA prep course/certificate preferred.
