About The Position

Towncare Dental of Forest Hill & Jupiter Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant to support its clinical team in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Florida. The Dental Assistant provides patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment, supports the office, and assists professional dental staff with treatment. The role contributes to the practice’s mission of providing excellent community dental care and creating positive patient experiences. Prior dental assisting experience is required for consideration. The position includes flexible scheduling options, benefits, continuing education and professional development support, and work in a modern office with advanced dental technology. Requirements

Prior dental assisting experience.
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program, or six months of on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
X-ray certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Nice To Haves

Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients about oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Follow infection control protocols, protect patient confidentiality, and comply with workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake when needed.
Help the dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supplies, and an emergency telephone directory.
