About The Position

At Aspen Dental, Dental Assistants help support the clinical needs of practice patients and doctors. The role provides training and support to help employees develop their careers and contribute to their community through patient care. The position is full-time, pays $23–$25 per hour, and includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Infection Control (ICE) certifications as required by the state of California.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Take dental x-rays.
Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
Perform digital intraoral scans.
Support patient charting for doctors.
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
