About The Position

Graham Family Dental Care is seeking a skilled, friendly Dental Assistant to join its growing team in South Puyallup, Washington. The practice provides modern, conservative care and emphasizes helping patients feel comfortable and cared for while building lasting relationships with patients and colleagues.

This full-time role is scheduled five days per week: Monday 9 AM–5 PM, Tuesday 10 AM–6 PM, Wednesday 9 AM–5 PM, Thursday 10 AM–6 PM, and alternating Fridays and Saturdays from 8 AM–2 PM. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour.

Requirements

• CPR/BLS certification.
• DANB certification, required for Washington State.
• Radiology certification.
• Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments.
• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Enter treatment plans accurately based on the doctor’s diagnosis.
• Educate patients and provide post-operative instructions.
• Complete dental charting and coding.
• Perform lab duties, including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Help with administrative tasks, including answering phones, calling labs, and making patient follow-up calls.
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment.
• Accurately document and protect patient health information.
