Dental Assistant (Endodontics)
About The Position
Premier Care Dental Management is hiring a Dental Assistant for Leading Edge Endodontics, serving its White Plains and Mt. Kisco, New York locations. The practice emphasizes patient comfort, modern technology, high-quality care, and a supportive team environment without production quotas. The assistant welcomes and supports patients, assists the dentist during procedures, takes digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed, maintains infection-control standards, prepares treatment rooms, and helps with office tasks. The posted salary range is $25–$30 per hour. The schedule is Sunday off; Monday and Tuesday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in White Plains; Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. in Mt. Kisco; Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in White Plains; and alternating Thursdays 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in White Plains. Benefits are available at full-time employment (30 or more hours weekly), with some benefits also available to part-time employees.
Requirements
- Hold any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
- Provide a resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills and deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Nice To Haves
- Prior endodontic dental assisting experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
- Support the dentist with various procedures.
- Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control requirements.
- Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
- Follow OSHA and safety policies.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
- Perform office tasks as needed to support practice operations.
