About The Position

First Impressions Dental, a well-established private family practice in Ashburn, is seeking an energetic, motivated Dental Assistant who is ready to be a team player. The practice is led by a doctor and supported by a dedicated team, with a focus on providing excellent care to patients and team members. The position is available full-time or part-time. The Dental Assistant prepares treatment rooms and patients for procedures, assists the doctor during treatment, provides patient education and comfort, documents care, captures intraoral photographs, and maintains sterilization and OSHA compliance. The role also includes preparing and polishing study casts, fabricating temporary restorations, and cleaning removable appliances. Requirements

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
Active CPR certification.
Available Monday through Friday during practice hours.

Experience in oral surgery.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials for procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and assist patients throughout their visits.
Pour, trim, and polish study casts and fabricate temporary restorations.
Educate patients by answering questions and providing clear instructions.
Clean and polish removable appliances.
Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures, including set-ups, suction, and passing instruments.
Accurately document dental care services in patient records.
Capture high-quality intraoral photographs.
Maintain OSHA compliance through proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
