Pediatric Dental Assistant-Chehalis & Longview
About The Position
Happy Kids Dentistry is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to work onsite at its Chehalis and Longview, Washington offices. The role supports pediatric dental care in a positive, welcoming environment, helping children feel comfortable and making their dental visits enjoyable. The position offers an hourly pay range of $18 to $25 and benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), disability, and paid time off. The Dental Assistant greets and supports young patients, assists the dentist during procedures, prepares treatment rooms, sterilizes instruments, and takes dental X-rays. The role also includes explaining treatment plans to parents and helping children learn about dental hygiene through playful interactions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Requirements
- Experience as a dental assistant, or willingness to be fully trained.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform prophylaxis and take digital radiographs.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Well-organized and reliable.
- High school diploma.
- Commitment to continuing growth in a long-term career.
