About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and sterilization techniques.
- Understanding of infection control.
- Ability to communicate compassionately with patients.
- Proficiency in body motion to assist the dentist effectively during procedures.
- Familiarity with Dentrix.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in dental radiography.
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain infection control standards.
- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and updating treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote better dental health.
- Ensure the dental office is organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
