About The Position

The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience. This is a full-time position at Mansfield Dynamic Dental.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Possess certifications, licensure, or registration required by the state.
• Strong verbal skills.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, as the providers assisted may change depending on practice needs.
