About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a full-time Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during dental implant procedures. The role helps deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment, with responsibilities spanning chairside surgical assistance, patient education and comfort, infection control, imaging, records, and office support. The posted hourly salary range is $26.00–$30.00, based on experience and certification.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant is required.
Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision.

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
Ensure patient comfort, monitor patient well-being, and educate patients on pre- and post-operative care.
Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take dental X-rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed.
Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed.
Collaborate with surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care.
