About The Position

The Dental Assistant is an important member of the clinical team, working alongside general practitioners and other specialty clinicians to serve patients. The role supports multiple aspects of the practice, including greeting and guiding patients and assisting across the office as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Smile Brands supports more than 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states. Its mission is to deliver smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners. This role is associated with an affiliated dental office listed on the company career site. Requirements

Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the assigned duties in the state of employment.
Hold current CPR/BLS certification or be able to obtain it before the start date.
Have knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
Help educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
Support efforts to improve oral health, solve dental challenges, and better smiles.
Greet and guide patients and assist across the office as needed.
