About The Position

Dental Dreams LLC is hiring a Dental Assistant in Rockford, Illinois. The role supports dentists during examinations and treatment and includes patient-service, administrative, clinical-support, and office-maintenance duties. No prior Dental Assistant experience is required. The successful candidate is caring, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service experience.
• No Dental Assistant experience is required.
• Be a team player, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
• Have a passion for caring.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental examinations and treatment.
• Chart during dental examinations.
• Take and process X-rays.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and the sterilization area.
• Set up and break down operatories.
• Assist with supply inventory and ordering.
• Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
• Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Work as part of a team, emphasizing communication.
