About The Position
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support the clinical team during advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments. The role involves assisting the Prosthodontist, maintaining infection-control standards, supporting patients throughout their visits, and helping the prosthetic team with operational tasks. The position is full-time, pays $23.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience and certification, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts required.
Requirements
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle dental instruments with precision.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Comfort with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Prosthodontist with advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while following infection-control standards.
- Provide chair-side assistance, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized.
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
- Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
- Educate patients about post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
- Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
- Perform office tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants, to support patient care.
- Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
