About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to support a Prosthodontist and the clinical team in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments. The role involves providing chair-side assistance, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, supporting infection control, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits. The Dental Assistant also supports prosthetic-team operations, patient education, office tasks, and collaboration with other clinical staff.

Requirements

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
• Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle dental instruments with precision.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Comfort with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Prosthodontist with advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while maintaining strict infection control standards.
• Provide chair-side assistance, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized.
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
• Perform office tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants, to support exceptional care.
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
