About The Position

Gentle Dental is hiring an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant for its Vista, California location. The assistant supports patient treatment and procedures, prepares rooms and instruments, takes diagnostic records as permitted by state regulations, provides patient care and education, maintains clinical documentation, and follows infection-control, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also supports a welcoming patient experience and collaborates with providers and teammates to help office operations run efficiently. The schedule is limited part-time, four days per month. Pay is listed as DOE.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program.
Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8-Hour Infection Control Certificate.

Nice To Haves

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification.
X-Ray Certification.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential, where applicable.

Responsibilities

Assist during patient treatment and procedures.
