About The Position
The Dental Assistant Instructor delivers quality educational instruction and helps students develop the technical and soft skills needed to secure employment in a new career. The role supports students throughout their educational journey and helps them determine their educational goals. Teaching experience is not required; training will be provided.
Requirements
- Thirty-six months of combined related industry and/or teaching experience.
- For California schools: hold an RDA license for three years and maintain a valid, current RDA license throughout employment; at least three years of dental-field experience; and X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications.
- For Florida schools: EFDA qualification unless graduated from a CODA-accredited school, and at least five years of experience.
- For Georgia schools: CDA, EDDA, or EFDA certificate, or three years of experience.
- For Arizona schools: an Arizona Board-approved certificate in Radiology.
