Dental Assistant Instructor
About The Position
United Education Institute is seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor for its Huntington Park, California campus. The instructor delivers quality educational instruction and helps students develop the technical and soft skills needed to secure employment in their new careers. The role includes supporting students throughout their education and helping them determine their educational goals. Teaching experience is not required; training will be provided. For California schools, candidates must have held an RDA license for at least three years, maintain a valid and current RDA license throughout employment, and have at least three years of dental-field experience. Requirements
- For California schools, hold an RDA license for at least three years and maintain a valid, current RDA license throughout employment.
- For California schools, have at least three years of experience in the dental field.
- For California schools, hold X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications.
- The posting states a requirement of thirty-six months of combined related industry and/or teaching experience.
- Florida schools: EFDA is required unless the candidate graduated from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)-accredited school; at least five years of experience is required.
- Georgia schools: CDA, EDDA, or EFDA certificate, or three years of experience, is required.
- Arizona schools: possess an Arizona Board-approved certificate in Radiology.
