Dental Assistant Instructor
About The Position
United Education Institute is seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor for its Oceanside, California campus. The instructor delivers quality educational instruction and helps students develop the technical and soft skills needed to secure employment in their new careers. The role supports students throughout their educational journey and helps them determine their educational goals. Teaching experience is not required; training will be provided. For California schools, applicants must have a current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license and maintain it throughout employment. The posting requires at least three years of dental-field experience and an RDA license, as well as X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications. Additional state-specific qualifications are listed for Florida, Georgia, and Arizona.
Requirements
- Thirty-six months of combined related industry and/or teaching experience.
- For California schools, hold an RDA license for at least three years and maintain a valid, current RDA license throughout employment.
- For California schools, have at least three years of experience in the dental field and an RDA license.
- For California schools, hold X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications.
- For Florida schools, have an EFDA qualification unless graduated from a CODA-accredited school; at least five years of experience is required.
- For Georgia schools, have a CDA, EDDA, or EFDA certificate, or three years of experience.
- For Arizona schools, possess an Arizona Board-approved certificate in Radiology.
