About The Position

Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant II to join its patient care team in Brentwood. The role assists with the overall delivery of care and helps create a memorable, fun service experience for every patient. The practice provides preventive dental care, orthodontics, and oral surgery, and is looking for team members who enjoy working with children and support its honest, playful, approachable, hardworking, and compassionate culture. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Practice Manager. The pay range is $19–$22 per hour. The Brentwood office is closed Mondays and operates Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays are by appointment, and this role may require Saturday work. Specific shifts depend on practice needs and operating hours. Travel to other office locations may be required.

Requirements

Dental Assistant Certification.
Current CPR certification.
Infection Control Certificate.
Radiation Certificate.
Coronal Polishing Certificate.
Upbeat personality.

Clean, neat, and professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Dentrix or Denticon DDS.

Responsibilities

Prepare the office with daily opening and closing duties.
Prepare treatment areas for patients by following procedures and protocols.
Welcome, comfort, and seat patients in preparation for dental treatment.
Assist doctors during treatment procedures.
Perform dental infection control procedures.
Take X-rays.
Perform cleanings.
Perform lab-related procedures.
Hand off patients at checkout.
Complete care calls and thank-you cards.
Assist in managing and controlling supply inventory.
Document dental care services in patient records.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, and Dental Board requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
