About The Position

Candid is looking for a driven Account Executive who thrives on energy, speed, and results. This role is for a confident communicator who loves making things happen, juggling priorities, and winning alongside a team. Candid is reimagining orthodontics by pairing clinical expertise with leading telehealth technology, empowering general dentists to make clear aligner care predictable, efficient, and profitable. The Account Executive (AE) will drive business growth by identifying and engaging with prospective dentists/practices, conducting demos, facilitating onboarding, and nurturing existing relationships. This outside sales role will own the northern Los Angeles territory and requires candidates to be located within the territory, with a preference for the Thousand Oaks and Glendale areas.

Requirements

  • Business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience.
  • Industry experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, or orthodontic product is preferred.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability and comfort having business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and asking the right business questions.
  • Comfort with having clinical discussions regarding Candid products.
  • Extensive travel required within your region, including ~60% overnight travel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Experience with a CRM system, Salesforce preferred.

  • Candidates must be located in the territory, with preference being the Thousand Oaks and Glendale areas.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential dentists and practices, research their needs, and develop a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Demos (Lunch and Learns): Organize and conduct informative lunch and learn sessions for prospective dental practices, presenting the benefits of clear aligner solutions and addressing questions.
  • Client Acquisition and Onboarding: Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads, manage the end-to-end onboarding process, and assist practice staff with product features, pricing, and contractual terms.
  • Account Management and Growth: Build strong client relationships, assess needs, identify growth opportunities, and provide clients with educational materials and performance insights.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing product knowledge and sales techniques.
