About The Position

Candid is seeking a motivated Account Executive for the Northern Los Angeles territory. This role involves driving business growth by identifying and engaging with prospective dentists and practices, conducting product demonstrations, facilitating onboarding, and nurturing existing relationships. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for helping healthcare professionals succeed. This is an outside sales position requiring extensive travel within the territory.

Requirements

  • Business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience.
  • Industry experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, or orthodontic products is preferred.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Business & Marketing knowledge: Ability and comfort having business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and asking the right business questions.
  • Comfort with having clinical discussions regarding Candid products.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Experience with a CRM system, Salesforce preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates must be located in the territory, with preference being the Thousand Oaks and Glendale areas.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential dentists and practices, research their needs, and maintain a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Demos (Lunch and Learns): Organize and conduct informative lunch and learn sessions for prospective dental practices, presenting the benefits of clear aligner solutions and addressing questions.
  • Client Acquisition and Onboarding: Convert leads into clients, manage the end-to-end onboarding process, and assist practice staff with product features, pricing, and terms.
  • Account Management and Growth: Build strong relationships with clients, assess their needs, identify growth opportunities, and provide relevant educational materials.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies, and continuously enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
