About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking dedicated Caregivers in the 19142 area of Philadelphia to provide quality, non-medical support to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. This role is for individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and looking for meaningful work where their kindness and dedication truly matter. The position involves providing one-on-one client care, making a difference in seniors' lives and providing peace of mind to their families.

Requirements

• CNA, HHA, or experienced caregivers — 2+ years of professional experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and trustworthy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle preferred
• Current TB test – 2-step PPD, Chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON blood test
• Ability to meet company requirements and complete required documentation
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Meal preparation and medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Mobility assistance and daily activities
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Encouraging independence and maintaining dignity
• Communicating client needs or changes to families and our office team
