About The Position

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver for a consistent part-time assignment at Cedarbrook in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The caregiver will provide one-on-one support, build a positive relationship with the client, and help the client maintain a daily routine. The client's wife is present and available for support. Applicants must be available for both scheduled shifts: Monday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Caregivers must be comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Must complete required background screening and TB testing.
• Must complete any required Cedarbrook paperwork.
• Must be willing to assist with mobility and personal care.
• Applicants must be available for both scheduled shifts: Monday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Thursday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a gait belt or assisting with wheelchair mobility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and friendly conversation.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Support safe mobility using a gait belt and wheelchair.
• Assist with brief changes and personal care as needed.
• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
• Accompany the client to physical therapy appointments when scheduled.
• Communicate updates and concerns with the client's wife and the CareOne Senior Care team.
• Follow the client's care plan and all safety guidelines.
