About The Position

A growing plaintiff-side personal injury firm built on culture and growth — both individually and as a team. We fight for clients who have been injured and damaged by large insurance companies that delay or deny the recovery they deserve. We're looking for a Demand Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate is coachable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the firm — we're committed to investing in our people's long-term development.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills required
• Experience calculating damages (medical specials, lost wages, pain and suffering) a plus
• Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload and meeting demand deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Strong understanding of personal injury case types (auto accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, etc.) preferred
• Familiarity with insurance claims processes and adjuster negotiations a plus
• Ability to interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, and treatment codes
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• Background in English, writing, paralegal studies, or pre-law preferred
• Experience with personal injury case management software (e.g., CasePeer) a plus
• Spanish fluency a plus
• Prior experience at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Draft demand packages to insurance companies
• Read and comprehend medical records and billing
• Summarize case facts concisely and build persuasive liability arguments
• Write with excellent English grammar and clarity
• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Maintain strong attention to detail
