Demand Generation & Marketing Operations Manager

Funnel Leasing
$130,000 - $150,000Remote

About The Position

Funnel Leasing Inc. is seeking a Demand Generation & Marketing Operations Manager to establish a repeatable pipeline engine by leveraging existing enterprise penetration, product-market fit, and brand awareness. This role will focus on a well-defined market of approximately 1,800 target accounts, involving segmentation, understanding customer personas, building campaigns and cadences for account reactivation and nurturing, and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plays against high-value targets. The manager will collaborate with an internal resource responsible for technical aspects of lead/account scoring and attribution systems, providing demand-generation strategy and channel expertise. This role is ideal for a demand generation professional experienced in long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, who values disciplined and creative use of organic channels. Success will stem from transforming thought leadership, industry events, content, podcasts, and organic LinkedIn performance into structured campaigns and cadences. Daily use of HubSpot and Salesforce for execution, segmentation, and analysis is required, translating raw brand and content assets into repeatable demand-generation programs. This is an organic-first role, with no budget or scope for paid media. Demonstrating the ability to generate new and regenerate stale pipeline will lead to increased investment and team growth.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in marketing operations, RevOps, or demand generation with hands-on ownership of a marketing automation platform (HubSpot strongly preferred) and its integration with Salesforce.
  • Proven experience building lead/account scoring models, lifecycle stages, and automated nurture workflows from scratch, not just maintaining someone else's setup.
  • Experience managing organic email and social/LinkedIn campaigns, including account-based targeting.
  • Background in B2B SaaS with a long sales cycle and multiple buying-committee stakeholders strongly preferred (enterprise, security, infrastructure, or similar categories); high-volume PLG/self-serve backgrounds are a less natural fit for this motion.
  • Comfortable working from ambiguity, this role is building the system, not maintaining a mature one.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable pulling and interpreting your own reporting on pipeline and channel performance.
  • Clear communicator who can operate independently with a marketing leader who owns overall GTM strategy, while still shaping tactics and pushing back when warranted.

Nice To Haves

  • Work from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Segment and prioritize the ~1,800-account target list into tiers and personas based on prior engagement and current intent, and build the organic campaigns and cadences that match each tier.
  • Build and run reactivation campaigns for previously engaged accounts that have gone quiet, timed around our event calendar and content publishing.
  • Partner with our events team to plan pre- and post-event campaigns for our 3 major industry events and annual user conference, ensuring every attendee and prospect meeting is tracked, scored, and followed up on.
  • Collaborate with our content, product marketing, and events team to repackage existing thought leadership, podcast, and event content into structured nurture sequences by persona and buying stage.
  • Run ABM plays against top-tier accounts using organic and outbound channels — email, LinkedIn, and direct outreach via tools like Clay and Instantly — replacing broad prospecting with precision targeting, without a paid media budget.
  • Own and continuously test our cold and warm outbound cadences, partnering with SDRs on message and sequence performance.
  • Own HubSpot and Salesforce administration for marketing: lead and account scoring models, lifecycle stages, routing rules, and data hygiene between the two systems.
  • Build and maintain the campaign and channel attribution reporting that connects marketing activity to Salesforce pipeline and closed-won revenue.
  • Design and manage automated nurture and follow-up workflows, including a mandatory post-event follow-up cadence for our SDR team.
  • Define and maintain MQL/SQL criteria jointly with Sales leadership, and monitor handoff quality between marketing and the SDR/AE team.
  • Evaluate, implement, and operate tools that identify individual and account-level buying intent (e.g., website visitor identification, LinkedIn engagement signals) and feed that signal into scoring and routing.
  • Report on pipeline generated by channel and campaign, and make the call on what to scale, fix, or kill.
  • Partner with Sales leadership on SDR and AE enablement for marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced opportunities.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Foster collaboration within team and across the company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.
