About The Position

SmartAcre, a B2B marketing technology agency, is seeking a Demand Generation Engineer to join their growing team. This role focuses on building and executing demand generation campaigns, translating go-to-market goals into actionable strategies, and continuously improving campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on growth marketing experience, a desire for ownership and client exposure, and a hunger to learn and test new approaches. The term "engineer" in this context refers to a builder who can translate goals into campaigns, workflows, paid media programs, and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work within the United States and live in CO, PA, TX, MI, or VA.
  • Must be AI forward and comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter while bringing the judgment, curiosity, and strategic thinking needed to make the work accurate, useful, and client ready.
  • Must have current working experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • Must have current working experience in Google Ads, especially Search campaigns.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands on demand generation, growth marketing, paid media, or marketing operations experience.
  • Current working experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub and ability to build without detailed guidance.
  • Experience with HubSpot Sales Hub or understanding of how marketing activity connects to sales process, lifecycle stages, and pipeline.
  • Hands-on Google Ads Search experience and understanding of campaign optimization beyond surface-level metrics.
  • Understanding of the bigger picture of demand generation and how paid search, landing pages, forms, workflows, emails, and reporting work together.
  • Comfortable regularly speaking to clients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis with progress updates or performance reports.
  • Comfortable making data-informed recommendations and explaining what the numbers mean in plain English.
  • Ability to manage multiple client priorities without letting details fall through the cracks.

Nice To Haves

  • LinkedIn Ads experience.
  • Content experience is helpful, especially for campaign messaging, email, landing pages, and paid ad copy.
  • Curiosity about AI, marketing technology, automation, and how modern demand teams can move faster without getting sloppy.
  • Proactive about experimentation, eager to test new platforms and strategies, learn what works, and bring innovative ideas to clients that drive better results.
  • Likes building systems, testing ideas, fixing what is broken, and finding better ways to get results.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute demand generation programs that help B2B clients attract, convert, and nurture the right audiences.
  • Work confidently in HubSpot Marketing Hub to build lists, workflows, emails, landing pages, forms, campaigns, and performance reporting.
  • Support go-to-market programs across paid search, email, landing pages, lifecycle nurture, and conversion paths.
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads Search campaigns, including keyword strategy, ad copy, budget pacing, performance analysis, and recommendations.
  • Use campaign data to spot what is working, what is underperforming, and what needs to change next.
  • Connect campaign execution to business outcomes, including lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline influence, and budget efficiency.
  • Collaborate with account managers, strategists, paid media specialists, RevOps experts, designers, developers, and client teams to move work forward.
  • Use AI and marketing technology to work smarter, improve output, and create better campaign systems.
  • Keep campaign details organized, accurate, and moving, ensuring clean execution.
