About The Position

SmartAcre, a B2B marketing technology agency, is looking for a Demand Generation Engineer to join their growing team. This role is for a marketer who is excited about building campaigns, testing ideas, and translating strategy into pipeline. The term "engineer" in this context refers to a builder who can take a go-to-market goal and translate it into campaigns, workflows, paid media programs, and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on growth marketing experience seeking more ownership, client exposure, and opportunities for development. The ideal candidate has sufficient experience to be effective immediately but also possesses a strong desire to learn, experiment, and refine their skills.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in demand generation, growth marketing, paid media, or marketing operations.
  • Current working experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub, with the ability to build without direct supervision.
  • Hands-on Google Ads Search experience, including campaign optimization beyond basic metrics.
  • Understanding of the demand generation landscape and how paid search, landing pages, forms, workflows, emails, and reporting integrate to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Comfortable communicating regularly with clients (weekly or bi-weekly) for progress updates and performance reports.
  • Ability to make data-informed recommendations and clearly explain data insights.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple client priorities without losing track of details.
  • Authorization to work within the United States.
  • Residency in CO, PA, TX, MI, or VA.
  • AI forward mindset and comfort using AI tools for efficiency, combined with judgment, curiosity, and strategic thinking.
  • Current working experience in Google Ads, especially Search campaigns.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot Sales Hub or understanding of how marketing connects to sales processes, lifecycle stages, and pipeline.
  • LinkedIn Ads experience.
  • Content experience, particularly for campaign messaging, email, landing pages, and paid ad copy.
  • Curiosity about AI, marketing technology, and automation.
  • Proactive approach to experimentation and eagerness to test new platforms and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute demand generation programs to help B2B clients attract, convert, and nurture target audiences.
  • Utilize HubSpot Marketing Hub to create lists, workflows, emails, landing pages, forms, campaigns, and performance reports.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives across paid search, email marketing, landing pages, lifecycle nurturing, and conversion funnels.
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads Search campaigns, including keyword strategy, ad copy, budget management, performance analysis, and recommendations.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify successful strategies, underperforming areas, and necessary adjustments.
  • Connect campaign execution to key business outcomes such as lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline influence, and budget efficiency.
  • Collaborate with account managers, strategists, paid media specialists, RevOps experts, designers, developers, and client teams.
  • Leverage AI and marketing technology to enhance efficiency, improve output, and develop superior campaign systems.
  • Maintain organized, accurate campaign details for effective execution.
