About The Position

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is hiring a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in South Bend, Indiana. The role involves delivering materials to customers, picking up returns, conducting truck inspections, and supporting warehouse operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed. Drivers are home daily, with no nights or weekends. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

Hold a valid CDL A.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that the product matches credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Adhere to safety regulations and use personal protective equipment, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
