About The Position
Jefferson Health is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during a specified time period and complete all required documentation. The nurse performs procedures within the nursing scope of practice, administers medications safely and assesses patient responses, and participates in reviewing or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. This is a full-time night position working 36 hours per week at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia.
Requirements
- State-issued RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree.
- NRP certification.
- Labor and delivery room experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
- Practice safe medication administration and assess patient responses to medication.
- Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
- Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period.
- Complete all required documentation.
