About The Position

Nebraska Furniture Mart’s Delivery Preparation team assembles and inspects merchandise to ensure products are complete, damage-free, and ready for delivery to customers. The work takes place in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The scheduled second-shift hours are 1:00–10:00 p.m., and full weekend availability is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Positive, upbeat attitude.
Ability to lift, push, and pull the weights required by established departmental requirements.
Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Six months of labor or warehouse experience.
Ability to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

Handle products safely to prevent injury and avoid damage.
Safely use mechanical aids such as flats, dollies, box cutters, and power tools.
Assemble products using hand tools and detailed instructions.
Inspect completed work to ensure products look and function properly before delivery.
